It has been an exciting couple of months… I was given the opportunity to design and create an award for NYU to present to the founder of their midwifery program! (You can see the results in the slideshow in our gallery.) I also was published for the first time when Natural Awakenings magazine published an article I wrote about birth art. It’s always a challenge to step outside of our usual routine, but a rewarding experience for sure!
And it allows us to re-enter the studio with new vision and passion… and it’s a good thing, because the unexpectedly high demand for our new “Family” pendants and our “Mother & Child” pendants have been keeping us busy! We’ve been trying to represent the many different families of all shapes, sizes, and styles. There have been many requests for larger families, and so far we’re up to the “Family of 6” pendant! Thanks to everyone who has provided us with the ideas and feedback to help us perfect this new line of jewelry.
