Check out what’s on the FTG auction block this week: The first set of 3 handblown glass pendants (pictured above) is inspired by pregnancy, labor and delivery, motherhood, and midwifery. Featuring a Birth Belly pregnant goddess pendant in translucent teal blue, a Crowning Glory birthing necklace charm, and a Placenta Love pendant. All of these pendants are first quality, and are on sale for other reasons: The Birth Belly pendant and the Crowning Glory design are on the auction block simply because the colors are too varied from the photos I have in my listings. The Placenta Love heart pendant is just like the ones pictured except for one little mistake… I made this one backwards! Not sure what I was thinking that day, but we’ll just let my mistake become someone else’s keepsake! Makes great gifts for babyshowers, blessingways, Mother’s Day, midwifes, doulas, nurses, birth partners, and new moms! Perfect for making jewelry, hemp necklaces, and birth bead labor necklaces.

Sizes range from 1″ – 1.5″ long, hole sizes are appx 4mm. Each one was individually flame sculpted using borosilicate (“Pyrex”) glass, the strongest most crack resistant glass available. We then kiln anneal them for extra durability. Each comes with a small artisan info card/tag.

This and a couple other auctions – including a set of 3 Birth Belly pregnancy pendants and a set of 3 Babywearing pendants (shown here) all kick off Monday night (4/1).
